custom rate?

Anybody know the custome rate for small square baling?...........neighbor wants a few punched out and am thinking at least a buck or a buck and a quarter.

ISU Custom rate survey has the low at $0.40 and the high at $1. Average was $0.55

I always did it on shares I cut baled then haul my share , used to be 60-40 now 70-30 if they think that too high I say 50-50- you buy the fuel and twine it goes back to 70-30

I like that idea of saying 50-50 they buy the fuel and twine. Most people would bite on that and think they got a good deal. :lol:
