A 2 yr old boy full of p & vinegar. There is 10 years between daughter and son which ensures me some good help for the next 20 years...I hope.

We wean way to late to hit the show circuit. We have a good set of purebred and balancer bulls this year with our weaning weights averaging 810.52 lbs on October 20th.Our heifer and steer fields are going to be gathered this week. We stick all the cows and calves out on the prairie for the summer so there is no possible way our bulls could compete with the bucket fed 1000+ pounders in early November. We take a pen of bulls and heifers to the Medicine Hat pen show in December and that is the extent of our showing. My daughter does the 4-h and junior Gelbvieh shows as well. I am not much of a politician, so I really don't have an interest in chasing the purebred breeders market. That being said, we always sell a hand full of bulls to breeders at our sale every year.
