well, they looked like crap to start the game, but a 59 punt return for a TD, ran back by Terrence Newman. the same guy who called out Terrell Owens to shut up and just catch the ball.....what a player Newman is....












oh yes, Katrina, he is a KSU grad ! :P
 
They ended up loosing... Makes a good day for me as I am not a cowboy fan..


I can't imagine what cowboyup and the other Broncos fans are feeling right now. What a strangely officiated game all around.. But to loose at home, in OT to the 49ers which ends up knocking you out of the playoffs... Yikes....Looked to me in that game that Cutler had a bit of a concussion after he came back, especially after that blindside hit he took from the corner blitz. Don't think Plummer would have been a better option but man, I am wondering how many WR's he was seeing on some of those plays.

You and me both-- Used to like them back in the days of Tom Landry, Dandy Don, Bob Lilly, Walt Garrison-- but now since Jerry Jones and T.O., and some of their antics-- you couldn't pay me enough to go to one of their games.......

And I can go to a Hooters and see what I'm missing by not seeing the cheerleaders :wink: :lol:
 
I grew up a Steelers fan, loved Bradshaw... but married a Cowboys fan, so to get what I want, I gotta cheer for the cowboys.

take TO, Jerry Jones, and Parcells out of there, and it is a team I could really root for.
 
DENVER -- Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting early Monday, his limousine sprayed with bullets in downtown Denver.
A little after 2 a.m., a white Hummer limousine was fired on from a vehicle that pulled up along its side, police spokesman Sonny Jackson said. There were at least eight bullet holes in the limo.
In December, Williams spoke of his desire to return to his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, this off season to talk to kids about staying out of gangs.

Actually, I don't follow pro football anymore....... I used to be a Green bay fan and watch teams where the nebraska players were playing......
Pro football sucks.... All dancing in the endzone and no smashmouth..
 
I think the pros ought to be paid a set salary, then bonuses if they get into the play offs, then a bigger one if they get to the superbowl.... put pride back into the game....

nothing compares to the high school and college pride and rivalry that you develop between to teams.....

Now there is something I learned today-- they have Hummer limousines :shock: Not something I've ever seen living out here in Podunk, USA...... :lol: :lol:
 
Here's one we saw in NYC, double parked in front of a resturant. Had two very large guys standing on the side guarding it. Didn't know who was the happy owner but must have been somebody of importance to sit ther double parked and no cops doing anything about it.

There is one of those out here that they rent out... I don't know who uses it or how much it costs but I have seen it a couple of time (I would imagine weddings and Proms).. Not as big as that one but the size of a normal stretch limo.. Town of 6000 people... I often wonder if people use it to go to Chicago maybe.... Me? I would just take Amtrack.

Maybe with my next million I'll have to get me one of those :roll: ....Front would be half way thru town before the rear got to outer edge :wink: :lol: :lol:
 
If I had one of those, I'd have to take the old lady with me everywhere I went just so I'd have somebody to shut the gates behind me.

Yup, it's a crying shame what your pro league has done to a great Canadian invention. It all started with trying to cram all those players onto that tiny little field with no endzones, and totally ruined it by giving them all those downs.
Now for good football take in a CFL game sometime. Much more entertaining. Plus, they are playing for peanuts and run just to stay warm. :lol:
