I agree, and I've never seen a horse branded like that. Done right, a horse will lean into the iron.........and it doesn't take much......

Don't know but Im guessing he wont do it like that again. If he can still get up.

Looked to me like he held that iron on there about 10x longer than he should have, and the horse had grounds to kick him way before he did!
