Went in to the pen with some wolves once at the Naval Artic Research Lab to help a friend feed them once.

They be scary!

I would bet thats just his coloring...The ones I've seen around here- some looked almost identical to him with black up high and lighter on the bottom....One I found was almost all black...Wolves have varying shades...

When was that photo taken? I didn't know there were and Bell 47s still flying. Can't get any more fun than helicopter hunting, except maybe with a piper cub.

I know one coyote hunter thats still got one...My adopted son used to fly with him as the gunner...One time I thought I was going to see both of them die...They had came to the airport to unload carcasses- and then took back off- he swung the chopper around pretty low and ran headon into a power line with one of the skids...Luckily they weren't going fast and it didn't flip them over and he was able to pour the power to it and the cutter bar he had on the skid did its job and cut thru the wire :roll: ....

My old heart was fluttering for a few seconds..... :shock: :shock: I told the kid he got high enough in the air flying off those broncs- and he'd better leave those copters alone- but that went in one ear and out the other....When your 20 years old you think you will live forever....
