Wow, you did get some drifts! Looks like you had it all under control though :-) I think it snowed about 10 inches here, and with the forecasted warm-up this week, it should all be melted soon.

I do think you got more snow than we did, but we too got some good sized drifts,,along with bare ground where it blew off...Good thing for tractors with blades! One thing about this snow,,,with the warmer temps coming next week, it should melt into the ground in a hurry...I hope!

:? You sure thats Nebraska.....looks like Wisconsin weather to me. Today should be the last of the slop and then 60 by middle of the week. A few years back we got 4 inches of snow after corn was planted. It melted the next day so it was welcome moisture.

Guess that snow is what makes that wonderful Sandhills Hay and water!

Don't regret that we got only .65" of cold rain, tho. Supposed to be 83% here tomorrow, and we had 16% at 4AM this morning! Too bad we have to go right from winter to summer overnight. Tough on animals....and me!

The old cowboy who lives in my house is lamenting the fact that we STILL have a strong three weeks till we are past a real chance of a calf killing blizzard.

Calving is getting going strong, and well, especially some purchased hiefers. Haven't assisted a one. Just one backward calf and the vet makes that job look so easy! Too late to save the calf, tho.

Got a few cute little "Herefords", courtesy of a good neighbor bull!
