I think it skirted us about a 1/4 inch in the gauge which is fine we just started chopping corn and its about perfect. We've had some where around 30"s since July 6th I normally bale about 800 meadow bales I've got about 100 going to harvest a lot by fire this year. They were talking any where up to 5 inches for us depending on the storm path sure glad we got missed. Wind was blowing pretty fierce last night it was blowing the corn out of the chopper head spinning it side ways causing it to clog up looks a bit calmer now..
