It was a fine evening. Small chance of rain but the scattered clouds made for a purty picture

It only got up to about 80 today. It sprinkled a couple time today. Not enough to settle the dust. The first pleasant evening in about month. So we took a drive up the canyon. No rattlesnakes, two bull snakes, about 20 or so deer, one bighorn ewe, and A BLACK BEAR. He was down by the river and up the hill he went. Pretty open hill side so we got to watch him for a long time. He would stop and look at us for a while and then off he would go again. We saw a sow with two cubs back in May. This is the only other bear we have seen. Edna declared it a banner day, we saw a bear!
