DEWEZE

Alot of people are looking for used bale beds. The new ones are so high.

A neighbor built a line of bale beds and sold his manufacture company.
He said the most problems is putting on the elec and wiring from one kind of pickup to another . Make sure you have an experienced person put it on and service it. Did not know that was the big issue but it is when you talk to these guys. They want to put them on a one ton single cab rather than the others.
Try a Deweeze dealer that takes them in on trade. BUT if they are trading them something is wrong.
You have to look long and hard but some pickup dealership put them right on.
This is what I have been told. They do not like Dodges, or 3/4tons or double cabs and can live with extended cabs (but claim they do not pull a trailer that good.)

We have a 10 year old Deweeze that is still working and have had only broke down four times in the winter that I can remember.
I just bought a Cannon ball it has a dump bed on it and same price as a Bessler. We can not find a Deweese dealer in our area for some reason.
Dewese are tougher and weigh alot causing fuel mileage to sink

I put my Cannon Ball on a new ton GMC and hauled 100 bales out of the field with it a 2 mile run no problems. However one needs to pay attention when dumping the bales its a little tricky.

I assume you have priced these babys. Dealers better not charge to put them on at these prices and ours do not. However both dealers I priced add for tool boxes, headache lights and even side boards and a 40 dollar Ressse hitch. Cannon ball claim to haul four little bales, and claim to load big squares and of course the dump was no extra cost but you have to lock the bed down and dealers says they need more maintenance that a Deweese.

I just went through this so I thought you may be interestedin what I learned.

Sorry it was late ....DewEze....sp
it takes at least a full day to repair the cylindars by the time we take it to a hydo shop... lucky we have a local man that does it with in 20 miles.
