I received this in an e-mail from a Veterinarian friends wife.
Thought it was worth passing along.

Yikes!! I use one. I'll have to check the lable. I hope poor Skamp and Concho don't die from it! But the way I use it I highly doubt they are getting any on their paws cuz i don't let them near the area until it is dry and even so my dogs don't lick their paws much or that I see.

I wonder if there is any truth to that story or is it just an internet hoax that someone started!?

TX Tibbs, I don't have a swiffer box here right now. To be sure, you can
check the warning label on the box. That should tell you what you need to know.

My daughter was just telling me about a friend of hers who recently lost a dog. The vet didn't know what the problem was for sure, just
that there was something wrong with its liver. Interesting that she
used a swiffer in her house.

Dogs die everyday of Liver problems.....and sure some of them people have swiffers, but just as many don't.

From what I searched on the net there is no proof of this actually being the cause of death of that dog......and yes that same email you sent is on the net being questioned...I just typed in a search for Swiffer Wet Jet Dog, and it give me all kinds of things pertaining to that e-mail.

Like I say....I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

FH I'm like you, I see something that others need to know and pass it on. I had no clue that there was a site out there to check this stuff out on. Thanks for caring enough to share.

FH-if it will make ya feel any better, a friend of mine did the same thing a while back. Unfortunately, he is (was?) a radio personality for a nationwide broadcasting company. He e-mailed (to all corporate members)a seemingly honest & innocent message that "slammed" that Bin Lodin jerk & pumped up national pride. Well won't ya know it but some dope smokin, tree hungin corporate type took offense & raised sam-hell with him for not researchin it before he sent it out (there was a few flaws in his quotes). He had to make a "public apology" on the air & over the e-mail circuit

Rumors fly swiffer than a wet jet, but they sure keep life interesting. Rumors are kinda like watermelon--the juicier the better. :-)

LOL and seem more frequent in small towns............ :)

We had an old neighbor, died shortly after we moved in, and he used to like going to the coffee shops and talk real loud about some fictious thing he was going to do or already did... Than we would wait about 2 weeks and the rumour would come back to him... It would always be so twisted around and different than what he said but he would act all angry and his face would turn red and he would say "You know what, I'm going to get that sob who started that rumour and you know what I am going to say to them? Milo, you've done it again" and than he would wink and a big smile would come across his face and he would start laughing.. People loved talking about him, wish Ihad gotten to know him, sounded like he was quite the character.

Guess that tells the story. Sorry I posted before checking it out.

I'll send that email back to who sent it to me, and tell them it is
FALSE INFORMATION.

Thanks!

I didn't know it either someone on another board I posted the warning on cross posted the info for me  I guess I am nieve cause I have never even heard of that website before. Whats up with people these days that are starting these emails, we dont have enough problems out there already without creating new ones.
