My neighbour is looking at a '08 Dodge 6.7‎L diesel 3500 4x4 . Does anyone know of any problems with this year/make/model/engine?
She's finally trading off her lemon F350 6L diesel. Nothing but problems with that truck

Just as long as you start saving for front end work now, you should be alright

We have an 08 09 07 dodges have not had any problems with them at all I am glad to hear you up grade to a dodge you will really like how they tow.

i had an 07.5 with the 6.7L and never had any problems with it. my new one is an 09 6.7 and i love it. if y'all dont have to worry about emissions junk around where you live, i suggest doing dpf and egr deletes. i gained 5 mpg pulling a load once i did that and the truck can idle all day with getting clogged.

I don't agree with this. Out of all three pickup manufacturers for diesel pickups dodges are the cheapest. When comparing options packages and straight across the board comparing apples to apples. Everyone I talk to say that dodges are the cheapest and thats why many people have them.

It's Al Bundy, referring to his million mile Dodge car....... classic humour

I want the cummins, so I have to have the dodge. but as a card carrying member of "NO MA'AM" , I can live with the Dodge stigma.

I had it in my head that there was only one manufacturer that wasn't bailed out by the taxpayer thereby making them off limits for good ole red blooded conservative Americans

I drove a Dodge to Billings a couple weeks back it was'nt any better on fuel than my old powerstroke but . I sure remembered why I went back to a gas pickup. The noise was terrible. It got 10 mpg pulling a 24 stocktrailer and 17 coming home empty. But they sure do ride rough compared to my ford. The dodge is 10 years old or so, not new.

We've got 2 7.3 Powerstokes and '06 Dodge with a 5.9 all with 6sp manuals. The Dodge is quieter than the Fords, has more power and gets about the same mileage. The 3rd generation Cummins are as quiet as a gas pickup.
