there would be a chance in heck that an American could lease a place in Canada as summer ground? how long has it been since something like that has actually happened? there is a fella maybe 40 miles from here that is looking to sell cows and lease his place. i'd be all over it if there wasn't a border to contend with. i just don't see how i could do it without bringing cattle back and forth to winter here. but everone told me that i'd never get cattle into MT without OCV too. 10 years ago i would be thinking of moving north.

because my folks will be here saturday to sign papers on the sale of this place to my wife and I.

just can't get this place north of the border out of my head. 4 more years and my oldest boy will be out of high school and deals like this around here maybe once in a lifetime.
