Glad it's not a hangman's noose

We never have to wait on cows with these two on duty. In fact, the cows go through so well with our modified bud box that the Kosmo Kid
occasionally has time to sit on this chair and do crossword puzzles on his cell phone.

I really like that chute, but I priced one  . Want to sell a used one? I figured :( . Oh, I still like the chute!

We'd better keep it and use it for quite awhile to recoup our investment.

Hey Soap, did your summer make much difference to your pregnancy rates?

We are batting just a tad over eight percent on opens. This is probably one or two percent more than usual, probably because of the hot dry summer. Usually our good young open cows get kept, and bred to calve in the fall of the next year. This year we will probably sell them instead, due to lack of winter feed.

You could make it a rental unit and recoup the investment faster. :D
