over Christmas, I suffer through my extended family which is chock full of ignorant corn heads.
I was listening to them talk of Tom's replacement. they think it will be Dave Remington. which I think would be a good hire for the shuckers.

also said he worked for the Boomer Esiasin charity. which was headquartered in the twin towers. lucky for Dave, he was on a fund raising trip at the time of the attack.....

would really like to have measured that guys neck once....probably as thick as my thigh!

anyway, Sandy, once you read this, get excited and need a minute alone, I would like to hear your opinion on it.

It will be a while before we have to worry about it. I think T.O. has signed on for a couple of years. As far as I know, Rimmington would be fine - haven't heard a whole lot about him either way.

He was playing when I was going to school down there. I got in an elevator with him once - his arms were about 2 feet wide and his chest stuck out another two feet - just huge. I said something like "Hey, Dave, what's going on"? And he said something like "Not much, how are you doing". I came away with the impression that he was a good guy, was friendly with me.

SH, What have you heard about assistant coaching hires? My take on the Pellini hire suggests he'll pull some coaching talent out of the SEC. It seems like the head coach mostly needs to be good at attracting top assistants.

I just heard that that the staff was finalized, but one guy had a late bowl game and didn't want any distractions, thus they were going to wait to announce him after the bowl season.
