Coming to visit Grandma

Winter Sandhills scene

Luring cattle to a different feedground

Sunflower making sure they all get through the first two pastures

Killing time taking pictures until the cattle catch up

Fence to fix next spring

Not much ice needs to be broken with windmills

Trusty old feed outfit and Pied Piper of the Plains

Here they come

A couple of miles further along

Sunflower was dismissed about a mile back. The cattle will come now.

Reward at the end of the trail. Two pounds of cake apiece and seventeen pounds of hay for each should tide them over until tomorrow.

Glad you've gotten some snow Soap. I'd wish you 3 wet feet of it but that would cover up the pickings your cows are getting besides their feed.

Kind of a catch 22 huh?
