Even though we could use a rain, the water level is high. There is a 30' steel tank about six inches under this pond.

A good crew is helping to move yearling heifers in the north country.

Easy does it.

The heifers are doing well.

Persuading them to a different pasture

The Kosmo Kid and I are not getting too saddle sore.

Crew at work

This pasture has lots of grass.

Taking the yearlings on to water

A bird is hiding and trying to remain incognito on yonder post.

It is resting and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Even though it thinks it's invisible

I can see it.

Cattle in repose

Sparky and the Kosmo Kid

And here they re-pose.

A nice day for fun in the creek

Unlike the day of the 22nd of May, when these tough kids were enjoying the water in considerably colder weather

On this day, the thermometer in my pickup read 54 degrees, with a fairly stout breeze.

They are tough and seem to be having fun.

I do admire them.

And they are happy.

Here is how I was dressed on that day--winter coat and vest, and I was still chilly.
