We have what we call here "stick tights" honestly don't know what kinda seed they are or what plant they come off of, but they stick tight to anything that passes thru them. Our horses will come in with them stuck in their mane and tails. They aren't stickery tho, more like a ruff velvet or velcro that hangs onto anything and everything, kinda a triangle shaped flat seed.

We have cuckleburs too, but not that many. Ever now n then you'll find one on horses and cows, but not often.

Really nice lookin calves Jake. I'll take that first set off your hands

Ranch is in Kansas, I'm going to school in Iowa right now.

Cows are chowin down on some DDGs and got QUICK snapshots taken before it was on to the next set.

If you guys are lacking cockleburs we can sure send ya some, ya might be able to sell them to the hoity toity as porcupine eggs.

Calves realy turned out better than expected this year, about 98% of the herd is black but we always seem to come up with some red carrier cows when bred to our one Red Angus bull.

Our bred heifers this year are probably one of the top sets we've had straight across the 40 odd head. Solid topped, deep bodied, long, and sure turned out purdy.

Nice looking calves overall, my pick for heifers is in the first pic...
That bull looks to be a meatwagon, about five, and angus? Your country looks good right now, but so does ours. It's still dry right underneath.
