Tonite is not for the feint of heart. -20 degrees here now, at 6 pm. We have enough snow that the predicted 55 mph winds on Fri. might just make life no fun.

The feds thought is was good weather to burn slash piles. Shouldn't get away from them anyway. :wink: It was so calm and cold that the smoke made the cloud hanging there.

Just came in from pluggin' the tractor in. -12. Plumb still tho' so it don't feel that cold.

Cool here today-- 6 Below for a high-- temp is already down to 17 Below which is below what they predicted...But they're still predicting 25 to 35 Above tomorrow....

Must not be too cold tho-- as the Hoots were in town in full force...I stopped at the store for a second after I went to the sales ring-- they were loading up a pickup box and a Suburban with cases of beer...Must be they're seeing a bad snowstorm coming in the pig spleen readings or something :roll: :wink: :lol:

Tap, it sure does look cold over there. Not much different here, yesterday. Supposed to heat up to 39 today, the wind has picked up and it's blowing like a banshee. Tonight and tomorrow we have high wind warnings 30-45, gusts to 60. Boy, plowing through the snowdrifts is going to be fun :shock: There's alot of snow to blow around - I have to go to Billings tomorrow and be at the Beef Council's booth during MATE. Blowing like this I would rather stay home.

Yeah, Hanta.. It really isn't the snow or cold that gets to me this time of year (I think you just adjust and 20 seems warm while 0 isn't soo bad).. But the damn wind gets to me. This of course coresponds with the 60 in april being a heck of a lot warmer than 60 in September.
