We spent ten days chasing mule deer with our muzzleloaders in SE Utah. Had a lot of fun and made some happy memories. The deer won the war and we didn't bring any home. But we had plenty of opportunities and passed a zillion bucks. Thought I'd share some scenery pics from the Abajo mountains- 10000 and 11000 feet will bring early snow this time of year

The mountain country is simply good medicine for my soul

The Bears Ears, of monument fame,
Is there in the distance. It's high desert plateau with deep canyons and gorgeous deer and elk and bear country

If ya zoom in on picture number six, you can see two buttes in the distance. Those are the Bears Ears.
