Fantastic Cake Recipe

Was told this recipe from a lady I know. Made it the other day. Boy was it really really good.

1 box of yellow cake mix, butter recipe, I used Betty Crocker
1 can of peach pie filling

Pour mix into a bowl, add all ingredients listed on the box except the water. Add the peach filling. Mix together well with an electric mixer. This will be a thick batter and there will be large pieces of peaches in there, don't worry about that.
Pour into a 9"x13" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes clean.
No frosting is needed the cake it's self is sweet enough.

My grandaddy always made a fruit cocktail cake. Oh man it was sooooooo good. Same deal...yellow cake mix....and a can of fruit cocktail.

But he made icing that went on his....it had coconut in it.

Whyyyyy did I hafta read this....I don't have a yellow cake mix or any fruit cocktail....

for those of you who like chocolate and cherrys

Take one devils food cake mix and mix according to directions then to the batter add one can cherry pie filling. Bake until tooth pick comes out clean. While the cake is cooling take a box of chocolate pudding and mix according to the directions and let it sit in the fridge until the cake is completely cooled, then spread the pudding on the top of the cake and top the pudding with a layer of whipped cream or if you prefer cool whip.
