Faster Horses- I remember one time when you were commenting about old bulls and you mentioned RR Rito 707- and how Davis' had thought he was the best bull they ever raised or something like that

Anyway- I was going to tell you that if you want some semen- they have some 707 semen on the CattleAdvantage angus folks website for sale...$10,000 an ampule  And they've sold 1 ampule....

almost makes sense, get a couple good flushes and hopefully have several 30-50K animal, pretty risky but could provide decent return.

Yep- but a little too pricey for this old cowboy to gamble on....About as close as I'll get to 707 will be to use his son-Legacy 3R9- and I bought a grandson to use as cleanup and on some bigger cows...

are you referring to Spring Lake Angus? If so, what do you know about their program? I saw some of their cattle on the angus tour this past september, but was unfamiliar with the outfit. Thanks in advance.

Randy and Sue Peterson at Drummond, Mt. used some Rito 707 semen and they are calving them now. They've had that semen for a long time.
Have you seen pictures of that bull? He is a very attractive MODERATE ANGUS BULL; no doubt about that. And he makes terrific females.

You have a good memory OT, cuz I did mention exactly what you said.

Funny how this came up.
My Dad was flipping thru a new Angus magazine that just came in the mail.
Probalby a thousand shiny pictures of Angus bulls and he picked out that Legacy bull to show me as he liked him.
