One quote was from: Elizabeth Campbell, former head of FDA's office of food labeling.

Another:  director of the office of food-additive safety at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.

Do you really feel these people are a front for PETA?  :shock:

Again I ask, how would they know if it was packaged in this manner?  There are no information labels required to even let them know it is packaged in this manner!  Do you assume all the meat you buy in a grocery store is packed with carbon monoxide?  :???:  Have you never returned spoiled meat to the store where you bought it?  If not you have been very lucky! Especially if you cannot open the package to smell it nor can you judge it by its color!
