This is at another campground - - - it spans 80' and is wide enough to drive a side by side thru if you are careful.
I got 9 steel truss rafters out of a WalMart they were remodeling - - - I welded them in a modified arch and placed them 3 foot apart with X bracing between them like you use in floor joist of a house so that the load is spread across all of them.
The trusses were all different heights so I had to make the tops all the same and not worry about the bottoms except at the anchor points.
Setting them with an excavator thru all those trees was the biggest challenge.
I put this up in 2009 and it has been in many wedding pictures as there is a wedding chapel at the south end of it.
