I ranch about in as different of a world from Ned as possible. In NW Texas and SW Oklahoma (hence Nortexsook.....i crack myself up)

Here is a yearling bull from Neds in the working pasture. I had him with 20 cows as a yearling and when I pulled him off in August he weighed 1370

Here he is in late September back at home in the bull pasture standing beside another yearling bull.

He summered fine for a yearling. How big was the pasture?

Most land int Texas is not in sections any more. It has been sliced and diced so many times.

But don't put it past a Texan to say we have 706 acre sections here.....LOL

Funny but just across the river everything still pretty much sits in quarters, halves, and sections.
