Four wheeler

I have had some cows try the horse to. Last spring I had a cow being miserable and she kicked my horse. Just happened to be a fence post laying there so i stepped off and cracked her a good one across the nose. She had a attitude adjustment fairly quickly. :D

Where was your Copenhagen :???:  :P

Just had to see if anyone remembered

I agree with Big Muddy tho- a fence post is cheaper than a can of Copenhagen anymore....

......unless the post costs you an animal
When I was a kid Dad and I were halter breaking a calf for the fall fair show. The calf (about 600 lbs) got mad and got Dad up against the wall. Dad got pretty mad and asked me for a club (actually I guess he demanded a club, and when Dad is mad you don't fool around  ) Unfortunately the closest 'club' was a fence post, and with a single swing we found ourselves in "cut and wrap" mode. In hindsight I believe Cope would have been the better choice. :D

Had a guy living south of us tell us a story involving a 4-wheeler and a bull. He was on the 4-wheeler and was bumping the bull from behind to get him to move, well this big bull took that for quite awhile until he had enough and chased this guy up a hill, the guy was in reverse and the 4-wheeler was losing power when the bull quit.
This guy was a few cards shy of a full deck. We had him help us load calves, once. He was using a hot shot on a cow and got her on the fight, luckily he was on the fence above her or he would have been mud.
Had him help us just once more and it cost a 10 dose bottle of Scour Guard 3kc and it took us 3 days to pick up all the bale wire he threw out with the hay for the cows.
