One that close, with the help of binoculars, would sure look like a "terrifying dact-owl". :)

"INCOMING!" would hardly seem to do justice to that situation.

Reminds me of the time I got a tractor out of winter storage. I opened the door and swung up into the cab just as this big old coon comes flying off of the seat and into my face.

Talk about heart failure. On my part, that is.

Seems I had left a window open far enough for him to crawl in and make himself at home for the winter. Had the uphosltery kind of tattered in places.

Keep the doors and windows shut when not in use!

Soapweed, go have another coffee, wouldja?!!!

When I was a kid I was bowhunting one morning and something was coming down the trail fast and low then it flew up and landed on a post that was part of the deerstand it was an owl and It scared the crap out of me.

Don't they have punintentiarys in Nebraska where he could be punished lol. Maple Leaf that would of been pretty funny my closest encounter with a mad furbearer was when stopped to take a leak by a Texas gate-unbeknowest to me there was a badger under the gate-and my wife laughed at my precarious situation lol.
