What did you come to your senses and buy a place in Saskatchewan. :D :D

Hope everything went as you planned it buddy. And the title of this thread didnt need a question mark at the end. It simply needed a period or an exlamation mark. Cant wait to hear the update. :D

Had a wannabe rancher go broke, stripped the ranch of everything moveable, abandon the ranch and high tail it back to a place he never should have left.

The bank had it in court for a court ordered sale on Monday. We were the high bid by $4000.00. We are both breathing sighs of relief in not having another of our fellow men too close.

It will add grass and hay for another 200 cows to our operation. We got it for about 70% of what it's worth. We owe, we owe.

Got 4 bulls too. 2 blacks, 2 reds.

Gcreek - you are a well travelled individual. I never even made the sale and it is only about 30 miles away. Exciting about the expansion. Congrats.

way to go Gcreek, a little more ground to hunt wolves on  happy for you and Debbie, always a good deal when you can expand right next door.

If you do not mind how many acres are needed to run 200 cows in your part of the world? Congratulations on the purchase and expansion.

That is cool! I guess I can stop thinking about it now  Don't think I could've got Mike to go anyway. Although now would've been the time to try, he just finished rereading Rich Hobson's books.

The expensive one is still for sale Nicky. It is listed on Landquest for a lot less than when you first looked. I think one would buy it for less than listing by about 15%.
