Does anyone have a Gehl Round baler with the monitor in the cab that lights up the green arrow for which way to go? The arrow that says to go right is staying on solid. Something must be messed up. I lifted the gate and played with the sensor on the right side and couldn't find anything wrong. I got to thinking later, could the sensor be the opposite side of the arrow that is displayed? May make sense. I didn't check the one on the left yet. Has anyone had this problem and found where the problem was.

Also, occasionaly the bale computer messes up, not sure when it's when I try to go manual or what. Actually one time it happened when the twine arm got way over to the starting point then the computer shut off. I When you put the gate down it still is flashing the cylce icon and says the chamber is full, when it isn't. Can't get the thing to reset, played with it for a while, check the size sensor up on that gear looking thing at the top of the left side door. The only fix I found was to bale another bale, watching the indicator on the baler itself, manually tie it (won't let you switch to auto) then when you kick it and put the gate back down, she's back to normal.

I've had pretty good luck with the Gehl, can't recall the model off the top of my head. It does 4x5 and is a Silage Special. Sure beats the hell out of our old JD 340 with Silage kit. Here in the North East we do a lot of wrapped bales.
