Getting young'ns involved

This past weekend we got 7 more dorper ewes to add to our flock. Our niece and nephew were interested in what we do before turning them out to pasture, so they got some hands-on experience drenching, tagging, and trimming. They had so much fun and asked so many questions. "Why are we tagging them?" and "What is the medicine for?" Cool experience to see them take an interest.

pretty sure my daughter and SIL would have the sheep sold with in a a week after I am in the ground. But I tell people that my grandkids will own the sheep before then.
