Horrible,horrible windy day out there. :mad:

Instead of moving some cows and a few other jobs I had in mind I went to Bengough and got my flu shot and visited Mom in the home. I usually miss the clinics as I am busy or just forget and I never get up to see Mom often enough. :oops:

You do have that right Big Muddy... Anything not tied down will end up in North Dakota... Wind took down a pretty big cottonwood tree in the yard...The weather bureau is showing 40 mph winds with gusts to 60...

This front did blow us in some rain yesterday and altho I would like to have seen more we picked up about .3 .... :D

Big wind yesterday, got quite a bunch of cows gathered up and in. Flew this morning, one of the calmest trips we've ever took. Saw lots of moose and most of the cattle we are still out.

Clouds floated in during the day and got progressively colder.

It is now 7 PM, -6C and snowing. :roll:

We had it when 'H did, but sounds like the wind is definately keeping itself busy! BMR, I guess I missed that your mom is in a home :? How is your dad doing?

Yea, Mom has been in a home since a year ago June.She is about 40 miles from the ranch so Dad drives up once a week. I think she knows him most days.Tammy and Britt went along today and Mom seemed to know them. She was having a pretty good day and we had cake and coffee with her. She will be 91 in 15 days. :D
Dad is doing pretty good, we are in the same yard so I have coffee with him twice a day. He likes to go when we take out mineral and fence and hauled my dogs up to me when I was moving some cows and needed help. :-)
 
We sorted pairs this morning, got done about noon just about the time the wind really came up. Had help scheduled to come so changing it was not an option. We had gusts up to 63 twice today. There is some things in the yard that have moved around.
BMR enjoy the time with your Dad and Mom, you'll be glad you took the time.
