Book Description: LOOK WHAT I STEPPED IN by Paul Swaffar. The Lowell Press, Kansas City, 1972. A light-hearted look at the cattle business by the former Secretary of the American Hereford Association, Paul Swaffar. Illustrated by Tom Phillips
This is a fun-to-read book that I got for Christmas in 1973. There are still some around and for sale, if you Google "Look What I Stepped In, by Paul Swaffar."
Here is one of his quotes from the book: "By chance you haven't heard, there is no finer food on earth than a good choice or prime steak, properly marbled, cooked medium rare, and served by a well framed mini-skirted waitress. The only one who would disagree with that would be a jealous wife sitting at home with a house full of fighting kids."
