We just finished up our third week of cloudy, wet, weather.  Ended up with a near inch of rain today.  The fields are soggy and there is water standing in places.   The grass in greening but the forecast calls for more rain and some cooler temps (30's at night) so that will slow growth.   The big crop farmers are getting nervous...they usually like to roll around the 10th of April.   As it looks today, it will be a couple weeks before they can even think of pulling all that high priced metal out of the shed.   Calving pastures are basically mud rinks....not so much a pasture.  Calves seem to holding up pretty well, but ours are mostly Feb. calves.

What animal is usually the product of a ranch?
