Have you ever noticed some ol' renegade cow in trouble, and you have to run her in to help her. You are wondering how much stuff is going to get tore up. Well she seems to sense that she needs your help, and pretty as you please, she is easy to handle. On the contrary, some ol' gentle cow may go berserk because she is out of her comfort zone. Sometimes it is necessary that we leave our comfort zone. In fact, as the Lord leads us He seems to have no regard whatsoever for our comfort zone. I just hate that! Sometimes it may be out of comfort zones with a sickness or illness or loss of loved ones. Sometimes He may want to take us into leadership positions or places of responsibility that we would rather not go. We can go kickin' and screamin' or calmly, but go we will! But we can depend on the fact that if He leads in our lives we will get stretched out of comfort zones. Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a great rest of the week too.

Shortgrass, as always thank you for getting out of your comfort zone each week to bring us your timely Sunday message!

I must get out my comfort zone tomorrow to drive to the big city to visit the big city dr for my annual checkup. I'd much rather stay home and fix fence!

That was very good spiritual food for thought. Is another name for "comfort zone" a "rut"? Thanks for the Sunday morning message, and for always causing us to think. Have a great week. :-)
