Good Sunday Mornin' to all. This week dawns with me at Reno, getting ready to fly home to Colorado. I have been in Reno for training classes the last 4 days. In fact this is being typed before Mother's Day. I will save it on the home puter, and Jan will post it for me. I can depend on her to do my will. Now for the big question—can God depend on me to do His will? Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a good rest of the week too.

Yes, thank you Mrs Shortgrass! We know Shortgrass couldn't do it without you!

At church this morning we received news that fits right in with the topic of God depending on all of us to do His will, wherever His will takes us.

Our pastor announced at church today that he has been reassigned, effective in July. We have been blessed with having him for 6 years so deep down all of us knew this was coming. Changing pastors is always a bittersweet event.

Our new pastor-to-be was ordained in 2005 so he might be a little green yet. As his first solo assignment our 4 church parishes will take good care of him and start him off right in his career.

After living in the big city, it might prove a shock to him after he experiences out how many miles he will drive every weekend to the rural churches. It's probably a good thing they send us the younger guys to break them in good and proper! :wink: :lol:
