This time of year, there are a lot of horse sales around. The older proven horses bring a premium. I like to watch the colts sell. Some people are pretty good at seeing the potential in a colt, and are able to bring that out. It is always a guessing game, but some horsemen are more consistent guessers than others! When Peter first came to Jesus, Jesus said to him "you are Simon, but you shall be called Peter." Peter, the rock; Jesus was looking at the potential in the man. He saw who he would become, not who he was. Often when I look at others, I only see who they are. I would like to become more adept at seeing potential in people. Well, have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a good rest of the week too.

i have the same problem with people
i wish i understood them as well as i do horses and dogs
and could see the potential in them also and have more patience with people as i do with animals

we are starting a revival today at our church "Calvary Baptist" in Las Vegas New Mexico so any of ya'll within driving distance we would love to see you there

Jerry H, Thanks for the reply. Hope your mother-in-law is doing well. It would be fun to make a trip to Las Vegas, but we are still feeding. Dry-dry dry. My wife had some family that ranched up by Ojo Caliente by the name of Hallmark. They retired in Las Vegas, but are gone now.
