Well, we are in Wisconsin, makin' the most of our time. We have played with grandkids non stop, while going to freedom celebration at Northland Bible College (3 hrs away, so we did an overnighter), celebrated a birthday, baled and stacked hay, gone into the woods where my son-in-law and his brothers are building a hunting cabin and redeeming the time because we know it will be short. Today, we tried to bale, but the hay was tuff, so we'll try tomorrow after church. We all understand where that saying "make hay while the sun shines" comes from. You never say "I'll go bale one of these days" or "If I get around to it, I really should bale that hay one of these days". All too often in our Christian walk, we approach it as if we have all the time in the world, and so we procrastinate. Have you, like I said "one of these days, I'll do thus & so", "I need to send a card to___", or "I really should go see this person or that"? Scripture says that we should "redeem the time", because it is short, also that "to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin". This lessson, like so many, is easy for me to type into a paragraph, and so difficult to apply. Three little words help me to improve - "Do it now." Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin' and a fine rest of the week too.
