If you have one cow, or 100, you have to get out and feed her. True, but if you have one cow the responsibility is less than with 100. With 100 it is less than with 1,000, and that is less than with 2,000 head. It is written "to whom much has been given, much shall be required. With privilege, comes responsibility, no question about it. We have a wonderful privilege in America to choose our leaders; it is called voting. With that privilege comes the responsibility or duty to do so. We may not like our choices, but we need to make the best of the choices, and then comes the responsibility of praying for that man. We need to pray that our leaders (not limited to the oval office) will recognize that they have been placed in authority by God, recognize that they are inadequate and need His help and guidance, and know that they shall be held accountable for their choices, as shall we all. We truly do need to pray, and also to vote. Have a good Sunday mornin' and God Bless.

Thanks Shortgrass, for the reminder. It is easy to forget our responsibilities after we drop our ballot in the ballot box when we get busy with the daily chores.

Thanks for yet another thought provoking message!

Especially the point of OUR responsibility to pray for our leaders, even those we believe are not the right person for the job. It's so easy to do more criticizing of their actions than of praying that they will act responsibly and in line with Gods' will, not necessarily their, or, our own.
