We've had a blizzard blowing most of the day. Not fit for man nor beast out there. God sent us a storm. Some people have a theology that says if it's sunny, praise God, but if it's a storm, the devil did it. I disagree. God sends the flowers and sunshine, but He also sends us storms in life. Those are the times when we turn to Him and cling to Him. Maybe the storms aren't so bad after all. Have a good Sunday morning' and God bless.......... Don't forget to set the clocks up............

Thanks Shortgrass, we had a bit of sunshine in life's storm with Debbie's Dad today in being able to celebrate his 82nd birthday with him in good spirits and mind.

Your post was spot on.

And here we had a perfectly beautiful spring-like day with the warm sunshine settling the snow and shrinking the banks that piled up through the past moths of stormy winter weather.

We have a much deeper appreciation for a day like today because of the less enjoyable weather of the past season.

Glad you and Deb could celebrate another birthday with her dad, Gcreek! The struggles make one like this all the more special.

Thanks, Shortgrass.

Without the storms that bring the vital moisture, there would be no green grass and flowers to enjoy. Sunshine by itself can be very hot and brutal. Moderation in all things. If we put our hope and trust in God and things eternal, the days are just much more enjoyable. :-)
