Just stay away from the tourist trap areas (Anne of Green Gables land) and make for the more rugged seashore and open pastureland. I love the changeable weather -- hot and sunny one minute and a storm blows in from the sea the next. Colors are sensational - it's known for that - red sandstone, blue/blue skies, grass as green as can be. Even the cows and horses look relaxed.
