Got grass?

We finished the month of june with 13.5" of rain - - - no hay baled! But the pastures sure are keeping in good shape.



Calves came up to check out the puppies - - - they seem to get along well.



This is the third litter of the year - - - I only breed each female once a year.

got 3 heifers a while back - - - one is black and fits right in - - - these 2 are supposed to be red Angus - - - look more like Angus Shorthorn cross but if they produce good calves I will not complain!

Red Angus/shorthorn cross should be a wonderful cross. But would shorthorn influence make a white face? I don't think so...

As much grass as we've ever had. Wet wet wet, flooding today. Driving grain prices up.

Getting any rain today George? We received 1" last night. Corn was needing a drink here.

We have had 4 days with no rain and most of the hay is baled - - - hopefully it all will be by nightfall as they are calling for more!

We had rain 25 of the 30 days in June!
