well, if you get the Grass and grain, take a look at the bottom half of the front page....a story on my father in law, and the trip my wife and i made a week ago.... made a kid out of an old man!

www.grassandgrain.com click on the "sneel a peek " link to the left.

No road trip to long to acquire the tractor you grew up on. I still have my first tractor and a cousin has the first one of my dad's. He is not inclined to sell it to me, yet.

Truly an old Johnny putt putt... I started running one that was a little smaller model back in the 50's when I was still too little to turn over the flywheel to get it started--but once someone got me going I could rake hay with it all day...

I sold it about 20 years ago to a fella that was going to fix it up for a parade machine-- and now you've made me curious what he ever did with it...

I had my grandfathers first... a B ...head was bad so I had a guy working on it, his shop burned to the ground....nothing left. really kind of sad, but not much a guy can do.

my father in law is planning on drilling his wheat with it this fall, then plowing next summer. i want to go plow with it REAL bad...

This where you was going when you text me that Saturdays. How many horse is the tractor? I have a friend down south of Houston that rebuilds old tractors. He has an old iron wheel one that works like a new one. I wish I could redo our 4020 to what it was when my father got it. That sure is a nice one. :D

I think it is 35 - 40 hp. yep, that is where we were !! I kinda want to go back when we havew more time to enjoy the area...kids would LOVE to go see the area.

I asked my wife's cousins about the whole alien crash deal...he said to believe what you want, but they know the people who own the ranch where it happened, and for a "weather balloon" the military did a very large scale clean up, and kept people away from the site for some time. also he is friends with the Informations Officer that investigated the crash that night, he reported a craft of non-Earth origin crashed. he saw it, and saw the bodies. then repeated "talks" with other military men made him second guess what he saw....but he is very sure he KNOWS what he saw, just hard to believe what he saw.
an interesting morning of conversation !!

If you want to see a lot of aliens all you have to do is drive to Houston Texas or Austin Texas. They all moved there when the military got after them. They have them with all different colors of hair and other thing if you know what I mean    How did you like Hereford Texas? It the government puts a tax of cows that place will be the tax more than any other place in the US. A friend of my the buys calves for the Hereford feed yards said they let the calves out at night to go partying at the bars to make the town look like a true cow town.

When I was a kid we went of a Roswell and Carlsbad on Vacation. The cave at Carlsbad is pretty wild place. At nights you can also go and watch the bats come out, but make sure your neck is covered or they may get a little blood from you. It thousands of them coming of there. It's funny because when you take a tour of it you never see them at all.
