Great Game!!!

Went to the Roger's Center last night to "welcome" AJ Burnett back to Toronto. (after he opted out of his contract with them last off season) heh, heh, heh Man for the first half of the game it was soooo loud every time he got ready to throw a pitch - the place was rockin' with "AJ sucks, AJ sucks . . . . ."

In the later innings we were all hollering AAAAAAA JAAAAAAY louder all the time to get to Burnett. man I don't care who ya are if you have 40,000 fans getting on your case, its gotta burn. No friendly wave this time.

And for whatever the reason, AJ did get beat up a bit by the Jays bats.

What a matchup - an electric AJ against Doc Hallady. Doc was at his best giving up 1 run in nine innings on 103 pitches. He was a busy man running to cover first on all the groundballs hit to Overbay behind first.

Final score - Jays 5, Yankees 1. Halladay's first complete game of the season. Hardly broke a sweat. One of the best games ever!

Tonite at 7:07. Cmon over!! Or tune in on RSN if you can't make it to the game . . . Our very own Canadian West Coast hero, Scott Richmond, vs. Andy Pettitte. Should be another good one. I believe it was Pettitte's last start at Toronto that Aaron Hill stole home off him!! That takes cajones to pull off.

I'd go a lot oftener except that it costs about one calf's worth of profit to take in a game. :roll:

While Doc only made a cool half million for his start last night!!!
