Hope this is clear old 'Rainmaker' took a certain young bronc rider from Meadow Lake to school. It was a bizarre weekend-the highest money LRA rodeo was on so Ty entered open broncs and bares-he won enough to make the finals in the open bareback but not the Novice-it will be a big step up horse wise but I guess we'll see.

You tell your Ty we are proud of his rodeo grit. He's got lots of it, too. We would be honored to be his American family if he goes to school in Miles City. I swear, that Ty has no fear. :!:

I'm not sure thats what they meant when they said "Tall in the Saddle"

You'd be very lucky to be Ty's American family. The kid not only has no fear but is one of the most humble young man I've ever been lucky enough to run into. :)

Great horse-great kid. :)

Why ty-he just liks to ride broncs I guess. He has a buddy provides the 'colour' for our little group of roughies. I guess he can't go to LRA finals-he won enough money but didn't go to enough rodeos. We found out last week he's been riding with a dislocated bone in his wrist-it is an old injury but he couldn't tell the doc when it happened. Football started today and it looks like the knee is healed up ok.

Better than being a good bronc rider/athlete, I like what Mrs. Greg
said about Ty. That sets him apart from the herd.

You put a lot into these kids, nr, and it's neat what has come back to
you and to them because of it.

Congratulations to you and your family and family of kids.

They only grow up once so I'm trying to make the most of it-I hope they'll at least park me on the sunny side of the old folks home when the time comes lol. Our first football/rodeo conflict is next Friday-first exhibition game/a couple rodeos that are pretty important. His coaches are pretty supportive of the whole deal-they'll let him rodeo and give the rookies some extra playing time. Ty has been lucky as far as sports-he's had good coaching at all levels in every sport he plays.

We aren't going to make it this year-the highest money KCRA is this weekend in Kerrobert-we might make Rockglen if Ty doesn't get into LRA finals. That big Beaver weekend last year was lots of fun-trying to ride Hartley's Harlots lol.

Good news!! I guess Ty gets to go to the finals in St. Paul, Alberta the end of the month-five rounds of bareback should be fun-there will be buckers there for sure.

:D YESSSSS!!!!
Date of the finals???We may be at my sis's cabin that weekend....just outside of St.Paul..... :)

It's the Thursday to Sunday of the Labour Day Weekend-five rounds so it will be hectic. Kind of bizarre to miss it in the Novice and make it in the open. Our highschool football team look good this year too should be a fun fall..
