My father-in-law's leukemia is in remission! After losing an Aunt 3 weeks ago due to cancer, i'm very happy about the news, espically for my 8 year old son as he's had to deal with all of this.

What's remarkable about my father-in-law is that other than losing a few pounds, you would never know that he's had chemo treatments every 4 weeks since the first of the year!

Thanks, everyone. It's been a rough month for me with layoffs in my dept. at work along with my aunt passing away.

The news today helped make up for the bad news.

thats great news. I hope he stays in remission for a long time.

My hubby is now in palliative care. They've given him less than 2 weeks to live.
His kids were here this week (yesterday, and today) to see him for the last time. I really wasn't prepared for them saying their last goodbye.
