I hadn't checked the cows in the Cherry Creek pasture since before our fall rains began- and I was amazed at the amount of still green grass and every water hole filled... Never seen it look like that before in Oct... What this country can do when it rains... 
A second calver with her nice heifer calf..
Calves are picking up good... Should when they have grass everywhere and water 5 steps from the lunch table...
This is a spring fed water hole- that often by this time of year is empty or barely has any water..
Looking down the creek every water hole has water in it...
Some of the steer calves are starting to puss up...
This spring is often dry- let alone running this stream of water...
Some hunters this fall are going to get a surprise when they try to follow their regular old trail- and end up stuck instead...
