Guess where I am??

Well those of you on FB already know, but I got to Mexico 11:15 monday night. I'm here for 8 days visiting my 85 yr old father who lives here. It was really balmy when I got here but woke to rain the next day :? Mike thought it would be funny if it rained the whole time I was here...shame on him. Yesterday was overcast but wed and today have been beautiful!! I went to a botanical garden, all native plants, and got hot walking 8)

Dad has really slowed down and aged since he was at our place last year. But he's got 3 differant 'adopted' families who treat him like their own. In fact he is buying a house with one family and they will live together...if they ever get it done. He keeps saying "I hope we get moved in before I die" :shock:

Enjoy your time with Dad Nicky, I think this might be the last Christmas with both of Debbie's parents. Looks like most of her family will be around for Christmas day this year.

And, Nicky, I'm so happy you got to go see your dad. How long has
he been in Mexico and where 'bouts does he live? So good he has someone
to look after him when family can't be there. That's priceless!

Gcreek, I too am sorry about Debs parents. Didn't realize her mom wasn't doing well.

Dad lives in San Miguel de Allende which is about 150 N of Mexico City. He and mom lived here for a couple years before mom's health got poor and they moved back to the States. They were friends with these people back then. When mom passed, dad sold his place in Az. and moved back down here.
