Baled up a field for a friend. made 190 5.5X5 foot rolls and 160 small squares on 39 acres. Amazing thing to me is he sprigged this field last spring and we had one of the worst drought in a long time last year.
We did not know if any sprigs survied, but they came back great this year. Baled 127 5X5 bales back in July. He had not fertilized much for the July cutting as was waiting to see what the grass did, after first cutting, the field was fertilized heavy.
Sprigs were JIGs.
In the front of the pictures they are putting in a water line and in a few months they are going to make the road into a 4 lane road. We sure dread that as traffic will be very bad to road equipment.
