hayguy and others

I'll be honest and say that i don't really know much about them. apparently ther was a recall on them late 2011,something about them going bang without pulling the trigger, don't know whether it was a big deal or not. I will try to find out more about them and report back

they claim none were shipped to Canada BUT this is not the case, both cabelas and bass-pro shipped gun's to Canada from their U.S. based warehouses that were on the serial # list

I googled that afer you mentioned a recall.
The store only had a Savage 22 with the accutrigger and they had a TC Venture in a 204. It was a nice feeling and smooth bolt action gun.

He had a Savage 99 in 308 in the rack. He said it was just in for work and handed it to me. The lever was half open and a piece of metal peeled off the side of the bolt. The other side had the side action plate missing and part of the stock right where it joins the action. The lever was bent inside, To hot of a hand load was what he said.
