You all trade cattle and horses. I trade tractors, this one was too big for us made a little money after owning about 18 months Cool back ground

We can't usually get into the hayfield until around 10:00 in the morning due to the heavy dew we get..the grass stays wet along time..do you have that problem...and by the way...yes cool background!

what do you think of your vermeer rake

Jassy, I live in the high desert at 4000 feet elevation. We get up every morning and pray we have a dew usually dew is gone and things are bone dry by 9:00 AM.

LBR, I love Vermeer rakes this is my second one. First one was a R23 raked alot of hay with that one. This one is a R 24, folds by itself. Want to get a R 2800 or whatever the new model is with 7 bars instead of 6.

Never heard whose baler caught fire. Foxtail is under control, finally. I heard there was a huge hay crop in your valley this year??

The hay yield this year is really good,those long winters take a toll,but they also bring good returns where haying is concern.Course now it's dry as all heck. :?
