100's of old tractors- and wagons and buggies... I'm not that interested in them-- but would love to have one of the old Lincoln Contintentals- as they at least make you feel like your riding in a car....But I'm afraid with the prices on these I may have stick with my old 75 Olds 98 to do that .....

According to what I've been told-- these have all been stored in quonsets he has on the place...

It would be interesting to go just to have a look around. I'd heard about his collection from some neighbors.

Some of the locals tell me that unless you go a day or two early to look things over- you may not even be able to see it- as the number of folks they expect.....
Altho I thing much of the actual bidding will be done on the phone by buyers....Since its only 50 miles away- I may have to go see....

I still can see myself in one of those old low mileage Lincolns-smoking a big cigar -but Grandma told me to quit dreaming :) :(

The 2 '79 Lincolns appear to be Town Cars...no biggie, collectors series or not. I owned a '74 Mark IV.....one of the finest cars I ever had.

Now, if he had had a '69 Mark III that was oxblood with a black leather interior, or a '77 Town Coupe the same way......I'm on the phone!

Never heard of Lincoln sticking a diesel in one...must not have been very popular, and from the looks of the oil dry under the diesel, I'd be awful leery of it. That one will probably go cheap........maybe.

Here is another antique and collectible auction that will have lots of appeal for lots of folks, the Twila Merrill retirement auction to be held at the scenic location of Scenic, South Dakota.

Be interesting to see what the auction brings?? I have an "H" John Deere I bought and restored about 15 years ago. Cutest little tractor you ever wanted to see. But the best car I have ever owned. (Only car I have ever owned) is sitting behind a barn. A 1978 Lincoln Mark V. The memories I have with that thing. I called it the "The Bar Car". A road eaten machine, once my dad and I made a parts run to Reno in it. 3 hours there and back with lunch included. Always felt like an old time cattle buyer or John Casey when I was driving it. Maybe I need to go start it and take her for a spin. Sorry for the nostalgia trip :)

Both of those auctions look good, wish I was closer, just too far for me to drag a trailer, thinking I will be high bidder.
thanks for the links tho.............................good luck
